Inverness Gaelic Choir

Tha Còisir Ghàidhlig Inbhir Nis a’ cur fàilte air daoine a sheinneas còmhla riutha bho air feadh sgìre  Comhairle na Gàidhealtachd.

Ged a tha a’ chòisir air a bhith a’ seinn còmhla fad 70 bliadhna, o chionn ghoirid tha i air crathadh a thoirt air saoghal nan còisirean Gàidhlig le prògraman measgaichte san nòs ùr.

 

O chionn dusan bliadhna, tha Còisir Ghàidhlig Inbhir Nis air buaidh mhòr a thoirt air a’ Mhòd Nàiseanta Rìoghail far an do bhuannaich iad prìomh dhuais nan còisirean, Sgiath Mhic Shimidh agus Thulaich Bhàrdainn còig tursan, an turas mu dheireadh ann an 2006.

Inverness Gaelic Choir welcomes members from all over Inverness-shire and Highland Region.

 

The choir has been performing for over 70 years but has more recently been shaking up the Gaelic choral scene with a diverse program and innovative approach.

 

It is in the last 12 years that Còisir Ghàidhlig Inbhirnis has really made an impact, winning the prestigious Lovat and Tullibardine Shield five times at the Royal National Mod, most recently in 2006.
