Bha Darren na bhall ainmichte airson dà dhuais aig na Duaisean Tradiseanta na h-Alba, Neach-Ciùil Geallantach (2005) agus Seinnidear Gàidhlig na Bliadhna (2010).

Gaelic Singer Darren Maclean from the small village of Herebost near Dunvegan on the Isle of Skye has been singing since he was very young and competed at his first local mod at the age of 4.

When he left school Darren went to study at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow where he completed a degree in traditional Scottish music.

Darren Has also been nominated for two awards at the Scots Trad Music awards, Up and Coming Artist of the year award (2005) and Gaelic Singer of the year award (2010).
