Bidh Ingrid NicEanraig a' cur fàilte air aoighean sònraichte airson uair a thìde de cheòl, òrain agus còmhradh anns an t-sreath ùr seo aig Blas 2026. Bidh seanchaidhean, luchd-ciùil, seinneadairean agus dannsairean a-measg nan cèilichean a nochdas aig na trì tachartasan iongantach ann an caisteal àlainn Inbhir Nis, a fhuair taic maoineachaidh bho Mhaoin Fhèisean Leudaichte. 'S e cothrom a bhios annta ceòl, cleachdaidhean agus seanchasan a roinn, a bharrachd air gàirdeachas a dhèanamh orrasan a th' aig cridhe ar dualchas ciùil prìseil.

An-diugh cluinnear bho Stan Chapman, fidhlear agus oide sònraichte à Ceap Breatainn a tha air mòran a dhèanamh airson ceòl is cultair an coimhearsnachd Gàidhealach san dùthaich aige fhèin. Cuide ris bi Alison Carlyle agus Amy Geddes a tha mar phàirt de Bhlas am bliadhna leis an taisbeanadh air leth aca 'Deiseil: Dancing in Time'.

Join Ingrid Henderson for an hour of music, song and conversation in this special new series at Blas 2026. Supported by the Expanded Festivals Fund, Ingrid will be joined by tradition bearers, musicians, singers and dancers across three special events in the beautiful setting of Inverness Castle. Each gathering will be a chance to share music, traditions and stories, celebrating the people at the heart of our rich musical culture and heritage.

Today Ingrid will share stories and music with renowned Cape Breton fiddler Stan Chapman who has made a significant contribution to Cape Breton fiddling and particularly music for dancing. He will be joined by Alison Carlyle and Amy Geddes who are performing their incredible step-dance show 'Deiseil: Dancing in Time' at this year's Blas Festival.
