Còmhlan òg a th' air cliù a chosnadh aig Na Trads roimhe agus air a bheil fèill anns gach cèarnaidh den Ghàidhealtachd 's nan Eilean. Le buill à Ceann na Creige, Cobhlasa agus An Ceathramh Mòr, cluinnear Ilona Cheanadach (fidheall), Caitlin NicNèill (giotàr/seinn) agus Ailis Nic an t-Shutharlannaich (pìob/duiseal/seinn).

Nominated as ‘Up & Coming Artist of the Year’ at the MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards, Hecla is a band which has been gathering a grass roots following in the Highlands and Islands.

Growing up in Kincraig, Colonsay and Kirriemuir, respectively, Ilona Kennedy (fiddle), Caitlin McNeill (guitar/vocals) and Ailis Sutherland (pipes/flute/vocals) sew together a tapestry of melodies and lyrics echoing the places which have shaped their musical characters. Hecla guarantee a set list of repertoire firmly rooted in the Scottish tradition, showcasing the intricacies of piping, Highland fiddle playing and the unsung nuances of Colonsay Gaelic.
