Margaret has performed far and wide, and has undertaken much collaborative work with other singers and musicians: she currently has three studio CDs to her name, (Fhuair mi Pòg and Colla Mo Rùn) and her widely acclaimed solo album, Togaidh mi mo Sheòlta.

Tha Maighread Stiùbhart, à Eilean Leòdhais am measg nan seinneadairean às ainmeile air a’ Ghàidhealtachd. Tha stòras farsaing aice de dh’òrain agus Gàidhlig fhileanta bhon ghlùin.  B’ e Maighread tè de na prìomh eòlaichean air òrain Ghàidhlig airson Tobar an Dualchais agus tha i na h-òraidiche tadhalach air òrain Ghàidhlig aig CRA agus Sabhal Mòr Ostaig. Tha Maighread air a bhith a’ seinn air feadh an t-saoghail agus tha fèill mhòr oirre mar sheinneadair agus neach-teagaisg. Chaidh a taghadh mar Sheinneadair Gàidhlig na Bliadhna 2008,  Ceòladair air Mhuinntireas aig Sabhal Mòr Ostaig 2011, agus Coimisean Ciùil Fèis Bhlas ann an 2012.  Bidh i tric a’ co-obrachadh le seinneadairean agus luchd-ciùil eile mar a rinn air dà chlàr, Fhuair mi Pòg agus Colla Mo Rùn. Thug i cuideachd an clàr aice fhèin, Togaidh mi mo Sheòlta a-mach.
